Fox News “terror analyst” Wayne Simmons was arrested by the feds for falsely claiming that he was formerly with the Central Intelligence Agency, another huge blow to the network’s credibility. Despite this, Fox News host Bret Baier went on the air and attempted to absolve the network of any responsibility for Simmons.

He excused the actions by simply saying “Fox didn’t pay him.” Regardless whether Simmons was paid or not, the network still kept Simmons on the air and gave him a platform. It’s shameful.

Watch.
