Thursday’s Benghazi hearing proved to be nothing more than another Republican-led witch hunt turned circus act. House Select Committee on Benghazi Chair Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) argued about stupid semantics, while Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) called for Hillary Clinton’s correspondence with Sidney Blumenthal to be completely released, along with Blumenthal’s complete testimony.
Gowdy has been cherry-picking which emails to share during the hearings in an attempt to make Clinton and Blumenthal both look bad. Republicans say that the hearings aren’t political. What a crock. This has become the most pathetic political investigation in history, and it’s obvious to everyone, including the GOP.
