The star of “Supergirl” said Monday that she wasn’t sure how to respond to Jeb Bush’s comments that she “looks pretty hot.”
He made the comment while trying to answer questions about Marvel comic heroes he is a fan of. He failed to name even one Marvel hero, instead naming DC heroes, but not before making some surprising comments about Supergirl’s appearance.
“She looked kind of … she looked pretty hot,” he said. “I don’t know which channel it’s on, but I’m looking forward to that.”
Melissa Benoist, the actress who plays Supergirl, said, “I definitely – I heard about it, but you know I don’t know what to think about it. I’m glad he’s excited to watch the show.”
