Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz gave the CNBC moderators a tongue-lashing about them pitting the GOP candidates against one another. This is blown out of proportion because the Republican race has become a reality TV show and when the people got that, the candidates got angry. They’re reaping what they’ve sown.

“The questions that are being asked shouldn’t be trying to get the people to tear into each other,” said Cruz. “It should be what are your substantive issues.”

The Republican presidential race has been nothing but mud-slinging and the candidates tearing into each other. Cruz, who’s a formally-trained debater, simply saw an opportunity to look good and took it. There’s nothing different from each of the GOP candidates. They are all the same.
