During an interview with Extra, successful comedian and Trainwreck star Amy Schumer doled out some advice for Republican hopeful Donald Trump. Schumer, who hosted Saturday Night Live back in October, was asked to provide advice for soon-to-be-host Trump. “What should he not do?” the interviewer asked, undoubtedly expecting advice on having fun and going with the flow. Instead, Schumer responded in the most literal (and sensible) way, saying, “He should not run for president.” Schumer’s comedic timing is undeniable, but the truth in her statement remains.

Trump’s entire political career has been a comedy of errors. One can only hope that he will feel right at home on the late-night sketch show, leaving the politics to established and credible politicians.
