Heaving a large sigh, Stephen Colbert signed off of the Late Show by making a quick announcement about the Paris shootings Friday night.
Colbert’s response seemed to echo the feelings of so many people worldwide who feel for the French people and can’t fathom the level of hatred and violence that has been renewed in the world.
In the coming days, Colbert and other comedic political commentators will surely drum up more humorous and insightful prose regarding the disaster, but for now, all any of us can do is sigh.
