At last night’s debate, Hillary Clinton did not always find herself at the top of the pack on issues of terrorism and foreign relations.

Both Senator Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley attempted to draw a strong contrast between themselves and the former Secretary of State, particularly focusing on Clinton’s views that ISIS is not strongly related to the Iraq war and that she feels we should not be heavily involved with the fight against the Islamic State.

In one particularly energetic exchange, Sanders and O’Malley released a volley of anti-Clinton opinions while a panicking Hillary stood helplessly between them. It is refreshing to see Clinton’s past mistakes placed front and center in a debate that is getting to the heart of terrorism and foreign policy.
