This past week, the twitter hashtag #NotInMyName was trending with images of Muslim individuals who renounced ISIS in an attempt to show the world that the Muslim religion is not to blame and does not advocate violence and terrorism.

A large group of Muslim Americans gathered in D.C. on Friday to offer a public display of their anger at ISIS and their support for those who died in Paris.
