On “Fox News Sunday,” Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina claimed that most of America backs the GOP belief that Planned Parenthood should be defunded.
Said Fiorina: “This is so typical of the left to immediately begin demonizing the messenger, because they don’t agree with the message. The vast majority of Americans agree, what Planned Parenthood is doing is wrong. That’s why the vast majority of Americans are prepared not only to defund Planned Parenthood, but also to stop abortion for any reason at all after five months.”
Online accountability website Fact Check has shown that national surveys prove otherwise.
Surveys say that most Americans are actually in favor of government funding of the women’s health organization.
Fiorina continues to be a champion of patently false views of women’s health issues and for the most part, she seems to be getting away with it. It is embarrassing to have one of the two women in this election attempting to take away women’s accessibility to health facilities based on lies and misinformation.
A vote for Fiorina is no better than a vote for any other women-hating male GOP candidate.
