In the Italian Alps this winter, skiers are having to make do with grass slopes for their adrenaline-fueled antics as the warm temperatures from El Nino are making snow very scarce in the area.

While small shifts in weather are not directly indicative of climate change, this video of people attempting to ski on green grassy knolls when they should be gliding over white powder is a humorous but troubling reminder of the future we face if we do not make an effort to change our earth-killing habits.

What now may be an anomaly of weather could one day be a climate fact.
