In what supporters are calling the “nation’s first-ever march for a presidential campaign,” citizens all over the United States took part in a march in honor of Senator Bernie Sanders and his presidential run.

The organization Millennials for Bernie organized the event and thousands took to the streets in 35 cities over the weekend to draw attention to the Senator’s campaign. The marchers also drew attention to corporate media’s biased representation of Sanders, citing the lack of coverage.

Sanders campaign relies on contributions from regular Americans, and now those same regular Americans are uniting in order to be the voice for their candidate.
