With a little over half of the results tallied, networks have projected that Hillary will be the Democratic winner of the state of Nevada.
The second Democratic caucus of the 2016 election was held in Nevada, a key state for determining if Bernie Sanders’ momentum has reached minority voters in the U.S.. Caucus-goers flocked to casinos and cut decks of cards to determine who would win split delegates in true Vegas style.
The race remained close throughout, with Hillary leading by just a couple of points, but with little over fifty percent reporting, Clinton began to pull ahead.
South Carolina is the next state up for the Democratic race, with the primary in the southern state scheduled for Saturday, February 27.
