When something goes down a bit off-color on live television, the best place to read the pulse of the nation is online on Twitter. Moments after the debate ended on Thursday evening, People began to remark that Fox host Bill O’Reilly seemed to be a bit more off than usual.
Was he drunk?
As users online pointed out, the classic signs were there. Slurred speech, seeming inability to focus, and a general loss of control. Twitter virtuoso and comedian Patton Oswalt kicked off the observations.
