During the so-called Super Saturday, Senator Bernie Sanders took to the stage to celebrate his victories but also to once again call on Hillary Clinton to release her Wall Street speech transcripts.
Records show that Clinton has a cozy relationship with Wall Street having been paid large sums of money for closed-door speeches to Goldman Sachs and others. Sanders previously requested that the Secretary release those transcripts but she has refused, saying that it is a double standard to ask her and not ask other candidate.
This time around, Sanders used a different angle and jokingly complimented what must have been a “Shakespearean” speech to have been worth so much money. Such a great speech, in fact, that it MUST be shared with the American people, right? Right?
Eh, it was worth a shot.
