When Donald Trump canceled his rally on Friday due to mass protests at the University of Illinois, he blamed the “bad guy” protesters and whined that his first amendment was being violated. Today, you may hear Trump-defending pundits claim that this is somehow the fault of the liberal agenda and P.C. culture.
Trump denies again and again that he is not to blame, and yet, every single other candidate has not faced the degree or scope of protesters he has.
In fact, just across town from the rowdy Trump rally, Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders held a calm and peaceful rally. It was so darn peaceful and kumbaya that they closed the event with a group singing of “This Land is Your Land.” Seriously.
