Ah, there is nothing quite as presidential as a candidate lashing out over and over at media outlets and getting into ever-escalating petty feuds with television pundits.
On Friday evening, Donald Trump once again attacked Megyn Kelly, who he has feuded with on and off since the beginning of his campaign. This time, Trump called for a boycott of “The Kelly File” and called the host “sick” and “overrated.”
Everybody should boycott the @megynkelly show. Never worth watching. Always a hit on Trump! She is sick, & the most overrated person on tv.

On Thursday, Trump sent out this tweet, again targeting Kelly.
Highly overrated & crazy @megynkelly is always complaining about Trump and yet she devotes her shows to me. Focus on others Megyn!

The Fox News Network was sick of the vitriol directed at one of their star pundits and they lashed out in a scathing criticism of Trump wherein they referred to the attacks by the candidate as a “sick obsession,” “crude,” and “sexist verbal assaults.”
Donald Trump’s vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land. Megyn is an exemplary journalist and one of the leading anchors in America — we’re extremely proud of her phenomenal work and continue to fully support her throughout every day of Trump’s endless barrage of crude and sexist verbal assaults. As the mother of three young children, with a successful law career and the second highest rated show in cable news, it’s especially deplorable for her to be repeatedly abused just for doing her job.
Whether this feud will remain or whether Fox News will again crumble to massive advertising cash that Trump brings to a network is unclear. Either way, it is as always amusing to see the dog biting its own tail.
