If this doesn’t make you furious, you aren’t paying attention.
A video posted online shows a polling location in Maricopa County, Arizona which was one of many that forced voters to wait for as long as five hours to cast their ballot for the Arizona primary. The video follows the long line from the beginning to the end, taking nearly three minutes for the man taking the video to walk the length of the impossibly long line.
“This is your tax dollars at work, folks” the man says off-camera.
Maricopa County which contains 60 percent of Arizona’s population reduced the number of polling locations from 200 to 60, saying that the number of locations were unnecessary. Clearly, that was not the case.
Even as the state was called for Clinton and Trump, voters were still waiting in line at many locations and were told that they would have to wait up to three hours more before they could cast their vote. The Bernie Sanders campaign ignored the call for Clinton and urged voters who had not yet made it inside to stay in line until they were able to vote.
Watch.
