It’s pretty clear at this point that the only people who really like presidential candidate Donald Trump are the folks over at MSNBC. What was once a liberal oasis of progressive pundits and left-wing ideas has now turned into a barren wasteland of “Morning Joe” conservatism and 24/7 Trump coverage.

Even while Donald Trump faces historic unfavorability ratings, MSNBC and other corporate media outlets continued to worship at the alter of the Donald.

Just how hated is Trump? The most recent poll conducted by Washington Post and ABC found that Trump had the lowest favorability rating of any candidate in the poll’s 32-year history. While it is obvious to anyone with half a brain that Trump wouldn’t be so popular with minority groups and women, even white men, his (white) bread and butter, dislike him more than they like him.

The poll shows that 61 percent of white men have an unfavorable view of Trump. Only 20 percent of young voters think Trump is an okay guy while 85 percent of Hispanic Americans can’t stand the man. Even those who show a clear impairment of judgement think Trump is too insane as half of Republicans have an unfavorable view. Nearly half would support Trump being denied the nomination at a convention.

These numbers just aren’t sustainable for a presidential candidate. In the modern, diverse, America, you need a lot more than old white men on your side to run the nation. Trump must either make monumental strides to win over minority, youth, and women votes, or he’d better hang up his hairpiece and head home.

At this point, it wouldn’t be surprising to hear that MSNBC and other networks were paying Trump off to stay in the race – that sweet advertising money from his freakish appearance on their shows is no doubt paying for a couple of executive yachts.
