During a “Good Morning America” town hall event, presidential candidate Ted Cruz was asked by a gay Republican man what he would do to protect the civil liberties of himself, his husband, and others like him from the growing wave of anti-LGBT laws spread across the southern states.
Cruz, being the good ol’ intolerant Republican that he is, danced around the meat of the question, focusing instead on the importance of religious liberty.
