If your home is anything like mine, every member of the family eagerly awaited Monday’s episode of “Full Frontal,” hoping to catch a few snide giggles from breakout-hit, Samantha Bee. Her biting political commentary almost makes us forget just how sad we all are to not have Jon Stewart on our TV’s four days a week.
This week, Bee took on Shelia Butt, a Tennessee politician with a penchant for being “one of the guys” in her state by refusing basic protections for raped women and doing other decidedly horrible Republican things.
Butt is also a big fan of white people and suggested in a Facebook comment that there is a need for a NAAWP council. Bee offers a few alternatives for what those letters could stand for that would be less offensive than “white people.”
