We’ve documented time and time again that MSNBC and “Morning Joe” have been the most helpful networks in television for Donald Trump’s candidacy, but nothing quite compares to the level of gloating seen on Wednesday morning now that a Trump general election is almost guaranteed.
It was during a phone interview with Trump himself that Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski took time to brag about their future-predicting skills as they have many times before.
Scarborough has long maintained that “Morning Joe” was the first to take Trump’s campaign seriously, but saying that of course, they don’t support the candidate. All this despite their glowing reviews of Trump and rare criticism of the candidate.
While the rest of America mourns the invitablity of a Trump v. Clinton race, at least Joe and Mika can say “we were right!” And isn’t that what really matters?
