Vice president Joe Biden recently spoke about the great impact meeting with Pope Francis in the wake of his son’s death in 2015. Biden said that he wished every grieving mother, father, and child could have the opportunity he had in meeting the Pope.

Biden, who has already faced more than his fair share of grief after losing his wife and daughter many years ago, was understandably rocked by the loss of his son Beau Biden.

In his recent comments, Biden relayed how much comfort he received by praying with and being in the thoughts of the Pope.
