During a Wednesday evening interview between Donald Trump and right-winger cheerleader Sean Hannity, the two Republicans listed off allegation after allegation that have been brought against former President Bill Clinton including sexual assault, rape, infidelity, and others.

“What about what Clinton’s have done? For example, I looked at The New York Times. Are they going to interview Juanita Broderick? Are they going to interview Paula Jones? Are they going to interview Kathleen Willey?”

“In one case, it’s about exposure. In another case, it’s about groping and fondling and touching against a woman’s will.”

The point that the men were falsely trying to make is that they felt the recent coverage of Trump’s dark past with women was not fair as the media had not as closely covered Bill’s past in recent months.

What they are forgetting of course is that Bill isn’t running for president, and his past personal decisions should have little to no bearing on voters’ decision to vote for Hillary Clinton.

We can’t say we’re surprised that Trump is taking this line of attack as it will no doubt prove to be very effective. The Clinton campaign so far has chosen to ignore these stories popping up in the media, but this will not be something that Trump lets go in the general election.
