Mark Halperin has truly upheld his position as a Trump media lackey this weekend as the Bloomberg host dodged all logic and nuance to roundly declare that Trump can’t be racist because “Mexican isn’t a race.”
Nevermind the fact that we all know exactly what it means when Trump repeatedly invokes the racial heritage of the judge presiding over his case with Trump University, Halperin was happy to play dumb to affect the cause.
“I just want to make the point that Mexico is not – Mexican is not a race.”
