Paul Ryan, as the Speaker of the House, says that it’s his obligation to support Donald Trump. Every few days, Trump does or says something that is so outrageously indefensible that even Ryan publicly disavows it. Then Ryan goes on TV and defends his stance that people should vote for Trump. It’s a cycle of abuse that even Ryan, who is a terrible evil mastermind in some ways, cannot withstand, because he clearly looks like he is going to cry. And at some glorious point, he will. Paul Ryan will crack, and we can only hope that we get to see it.
