With a system so out of balance, there can be little doubt that Americans have been complacent with an abusive system for too long. Obedience – not disobedience – has become a plague upon our modern society. Obedience will have us adhering to unjust laws and engaging in unjust wars, even while our nation was founded on civil disobedience.
