In an election cycle rife with horror and heartbreak, we have to find happiness in the strangest of places, like former Mexican president Vicente Fox.
Fox made headlines earlier this year when he pushed back on Donald Trump’s infamous wall talking-point by declaring that there was no way Mexico would be paying for that “f*cking wall.” Fox said this on live television, by the way.
Since then Fox has returned every now and then to defend his comments and continue to try to express how much of a liar and a coward he believes Trump to be. It’s the sort of macho bravado that we don’t see much in American politics, but Fox is clearly speaking Trump’s language.
Now, Fox is back on television, this time on a much more controlled and edit-able Netflix show, and he’s hammering Trump on whether or not the possible future president has a brain at all.
“It’s incredible that this guy with the crazy hair could be sitting in that chair. And, I mean, talking about building a wall. The wall is built already and Americans paid for it. It has served no purpose at all.”
Fox then urged Trump to use his brain, “if he has one, and go a different route.”
