In this Majority Report clip, we highlight the story of a Kentucky couple who were evicted under false pretenses when their landlord found out they were gay. This is perfectly legal in roughly half of the states in the U.S. The state of Kentucky doesn’t protect the rights of same-sex couples when it comes to employment or housing, but eight cities have their own local non-discrimination ordinances for private employment and housing and the state has protections for state employees.
