The 2016 election has done quite a number on the insane, conspiracy-pushing right wingers of the nation, pitting O’Reilly against Limbaugh, against Coulter, against Jones. No one knows where to turn to or who to trust.

As for the rest of us? We get to sit back and watch as they all simultaneously implode under the pressure to support an insane demagogue.

Until this past week, Ann Coulter was probably succeeding the most at being Trump’s most devoted follower, but in the same week her book bearing Trump’s name was set to be released, he did the one thing she could never forgive – he softened up on immigration.

Trump really could not have timed his “shift” any more perfectly, and his decision left Coulter with a limp book tour. While we were left tickled pink at this turn of events, no one was more amused than Coulter’s fellow nutso commentator Rush Limbaugh who devoted a segment of his show to guffawing at Coulter’s fate.

“Poor Ann! Oh, my God, she’s got this book In Trump We Trust, and in it she says the only thing, the only thing that could cause Trump any trouble whatsoever is if he flip-flops on immigration, goes amnesty. It looks like he’s getting close to it, and she’s just beside herself with this. I mean, what timing.”

Watch.
