The DEA made an unexpected move this week when it decided to “maybe” overturn its ban on Kratom, an alternative medicine used to treat chronic pain and for recreational use. The Kratom decision will now be open to comment by citizens and scientists to weigh in on whether or not it should be a Schedule One drug.
