No one has come out looking so shiny and wonderful this election season as First Lady Michelle Obama.
Having given the singular most powerful speech of the entire election year (and then topping it just a month later), the first lady has made her political impression on America, and America is in love.
Michelle has repeatedly said that she does not intend to get into politics, even when people have begged her to run for president. Despite this, if she ever does become interested, Hillary Clinton says she has a space for her in her administration.
Clinton was asked during an interview with Extra whether or not she would be open to working with Michelle in a political capacity. Clinton said that she was pretty sure Michelle meant it when she said “no way” to that politics business, but if she chances her mind, Hill’s her girl.
“I want to be the best partner I can be for whenever she wants to be involved in government again. I think she wants to take a break from it, but if she ever wants to do anything like that, I would be the number-one person.”
This news, along with rumors that Joe Biden might be made Secretary of State in a Clinton administration has us a bit more excited about the upcoming four years than we were before. It’s no Bernie, but at least its something.
Watch.
