In this Majority Report clip, we watch a portion of Donald Trump’s “60 Minutes” interview, and as with many things since the election, what was once amusing is now gut-wrenchingly horrible. Our future president knows that he is pro-life now, and he will appoint someone to the Supreme Court who is also pro-life and supports the Second Amendment. But the right to have an abortion will go back to the states, which he’s fine with; women can just travel to get the abortions that he’s so opposed to. As you would expect, he hasn’t given any thought to whether or not that is a scenario that non-wealthy working women would actually be able to make work. He’s also going to make sure that the Second Amendment isn’t “chopped up,” which is the opposite of what has happened, given that the Second Amendment is one sentence about which countless additional sentences have been written and the meaning of which has only been legally bolstered.
