Though many of the members of electoral college demanded to be shown the evidence that the FBI and CIA claim to have in relation to the alleged Russian-sponsored hacks, they will not be shown a shred of evidence before they vote.

52 of the 232 Democratic electors had signed a letter demanding that evidence be handed over to them so that it could be used in determining whether electors should remain faithful to their state or declared “faithless.” Many Republicans also agreed with the Democratic electors and called for the evidence to be released.

Despite their direct appeal to CIA director James Clapper, the federal agencies have refused to turn over their evidence, even to these most important figures.

It is interesting that the CIA will not hand over any evidence of their serious accusations, even to a group of Americans whose job it is to decide if Trump is really our president.

If we have actual reason to believe that Russians directly controlled our election and placed Trump in the presidency, electors should be given this proof so that they can declare a lack of faith in the man and ask that Congress choose another.

The Clinton campaign, though quiet, had come out and supported these efforts to turn over evidence to the electoral college. They felt that it was not receiving the attention it should be, and that this handing over of evidence was necessary and right.

Trump continues to vehemently deny the accusations and pushes strongly against an investigation.
