Despite still failing to send a message about the terrorist attack perpetrated against a mosque in Quebec, the President spent his morning on Wednesday complaining how department store franchise Nordstrom had treated his daughter’s business unfairly by reportedly dropping her clothing line in response to declining sales.

Donald Trump of all people should understand that business is business, but instead of recognizing that no one wants to buy his daughter’s overpriced, badly tailored pieces, he would rather shame Nordstrom and rile up his rabid followers against a retailer that is simply trying to do business.

The news broke about Ivanka’s clothing line after political advocacy group Grab Your Wallet put pressure on Nordstrom and other Trump-carrying businesses to drop the lines or face economic boycotts. Nordstrom officials said that they would not drop a product due to political leanings, but reported last week that they would be phasing out Ivanka’s clothing line due to a decline in sales.

Elsewhere, several other businesses have begun unlisting Ivanka products from their websites, indicating that they, too, are feeling the effects of declining sales and increasing political pressure.

Trump being the boisterous blowhard that he is could not stand these growing reports, and reached out on Wednesday to condemn Nordstrom for their decision to drop his daughter’s line.

Trump being a businessman, he should have know the importance of cutting products that don’t make money – even still, he clearly wants to bully the company into carrying Ivanka’s clothing using the bully pulpit of the presidency to do so.

Repeatedly, Trump is showing that he has no respect or regard for the office he is occupying. It is incumbent upon him to cut all business ties – and that includes not bullying companies into carrying his daughter’s mediocre, often stolen, clothing line.
