Elizabeth Warren Makes Steve Mnuchin Look Pretty Stupid, Calls His Statements ‘Bizarre’ – Majority Report

In this Majority Report clip, we watch Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) ask Steve Mnuchin, Donald Trump’s Secretary of the Treasury, questions regarding the fact that the Republican platform and the Trump administration both stated that they supported a “21st century Glass-Steagall” bill, despite the fact that Mnuchin is making statements that explicitly contradict what that would mean. To keep it simple: HE DOESN’T UNDERSTAND THE LEGISLATION SHE’S TALKING ABOUT. Which is pretty much in line with the Trump administration, although one could have held out hope that despite the fact that Steve Mnuchin is incredibly evil, he has actually done work in his life and is presumably capable of doing the work required to show a basic knowledge of the things that Sen. Warren would bring up in this situation. But, nope! It turns out that he’s also just another lazy rich guy who is baffled by the fact that he needs to actually do work to hold a very serious government position, and he predictably reacts by condescending to Warren and insinuating that she’s being “hysterical” when he says that “it’s obvious that [she] has very strong views” on the issues. Yeah. That’s HER JOB.
