Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf knows all about Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ diabolical plan to go after legal medical marijuana – and he is not taking the threat lying down.
After it was made public that Sessions had appealed to Congress to roll back a current rule which protects medical marijuana dispensaries in legalized states, Wolf took decisive action and issued a strongly-worded letter to the Attorney General.

Wolf noted that the state’s decision to legalize the medical strains of cannabis came about through extensive research into families it would most affect; the children suffering with seizures, the terminal cancer patients.
Wolf noted that the state’s measure to legalize cannabis for medical use was a bipartisan decision.
“We do not need the federal government getting in the way of Pennsylvania’s right to deliver them relief through our new medical marijuana program.”
Wolf called Sessions’ hope to undo the Rohrabacher-Farr Amendment “misguided,” and said that if Sessions continues in his efforts, the state’s Attorney General will begin taking legal action to protect the state’s citizens.
Sessions intentions to go after marijuana in all forms – state’s rights be damned – was made clear many months ago, but it was just in May that he began to take decisive action toward that goal.
As Wolf has made clear, states who have legalized cannabis in one form or another take Sessions’ hope to sicc the federal government on state-legal dispensaries incredibly personally.
