We can hardly be surprised that the term “spread the wealth” hasn’t really caught on in this country when a recent article reveals that only five men have as much wealth as half of the world’s population. This is the definition of unstable. And this wealth isn’t exactly self-made; it’s made off the backs of a society that comes out on the short end of a stick in a capitalist society which caters to an unequal distribution of income.
