Scott Pruitt, the climate change-denying head of the Environmental Protection Agency, announced that another 38 science advisors will be purged from his agency and that they are going to curtail panel meetings for the time being.  This means that rules and decisions that affect our quality of life will be put on hold in favor of fossil fuel interests.
