It hasn’t been that long since President Trump revealed top secret information belonging to Israel to the Russian Ambassador, and already, Trump has whispered more sensitive information to close friend and murderous dictator President Rodrigo Duterte.

During a telephone call between the two leaders on April 29, Trump bragged about the U.S. decision to deploy two submarines to the coast of North Korea just as conflicts appeared to be escalating there. At the time, it was not well known that such military action was taking placed.

“We have two submarines — the best in the world. We have two nuclear submarines, not that we want to use them at all.”

As has been the case multiple times before with this administration, the public did not learn of this improper conversation through traditional White House releases nor the American press. Instead, a transcript of the conversation was released in the Philippines and was published in local papers there.

From Reuters:

“According to the Times, a senior Trump administration official in Washington, who was not authorized to publicly discuss the call and insisted on anonymity, confirmed the transcript was an accurate representation of the call between the two leaders.”

Trump’s improper sharing of information happened during the same conversation in which President Trump praised Duterte for his aggressive attack on drug useage and sale in the Philippines. Duterte, who has openly bragged about committing murder and encourages the slaughter of those associated with drugs in any way by vigilante groups, deserves condemnation rather than praise.

Instead, Trump has continued to lavish praise on the brutal leader. Now, he appears to be sharing highly sensitive information with the unstable man as well.
