While the future of our environment, national safety and political discourse is in disarray, there is at least some good news to celebrate overseas. The results of the UK snap election that Theresa May hoped would shore up support for her Conservative party backfired when they actually lost seats in Parliament. And in Germany, citizens are getting 85 percent of their electricity from renewables like wind and solar power, a feat our nation has yet to accomplish when our current Commander-in-Chief thinks the the only thing that should be solar powered is the surface of his skin.
