Self-described “prankster” Alexander Bok recently made a video of himself participating in one of talk show host Ellen Degeneres’ “dance dare” challenges.

Bok would go up behind strangers and dance while they weren’t looking. Most people took it in good fun, and understood the harmless joke.

When Bok danced behind some New York City Police officers, however, he was handcuffed, cussed at, and thrown on the ground.

“After explaining what we were doing, they kept going, insulting me…” reads text in the video. “After endless attempts, realizing they cannot arrest me,  they threw me on the ground.”
