Virtually every serious critic of the Democratic Party usually concludes that the party suffers from a severe lack of cohesiveness and unity. They usually use the description of trying to herd a huge number of addle brained cats up a muddy hill.

On the other hand, the GOP in the past has usually been characterized as a disciplined, unified, well coordinated political party, even as they have consistently tried to lead America to the edge of an ugly abyss.

It is their discipline and skewed vision that has allowed them to help create the dysfunctional democracy that we all now suffer with.

But this is a new day for the grand, very old party.

Unity, discipline, vision, and cohesiveness is a thing of the past for the once deliberate single-minded party of the stale, pale fringe.

America’s Lawyer, Mike Papantonio, fills in for Thom Hartmann on RT America’s The Big Picture to discuss this. Joining Pap is Richard Eskow, host of The Zero Hour.
