The Islamic State announced this week that American hostage and aid worker Kayla Mueller has been killed, reported Raw Story. IS blamed it on Jordanian air strikes, but considering the source, who knows her actual cause of death?
Instead of lamenting her death, conservatives saw it as a cause for celebration because many from the right-wing said she was an ISIS sympathizer and “anti-Israel bitch.” Most notably, however, was conservative blogger Debbie Schlussel’s article entitled “Kayla Mueller: Dead ISIS Hostage Was Jew-Hating, Anti-Israel Bitch.” So much for taking the high road.
No tears for the newly-departed Kayla Mueller, the ISIS hostage whose parents confirmed today that she is dead. Mueller was a Jew-hating, anti-Israel piece of who worked with HAMAS and helped Palestinians harass Israeli soldiers and block them from doing their job of keeping Islamic terrorists out of Israel. I have no sympathy for any of these ‘American’ (in name only) hostages of ISIS. And my attitude when I hear they’ve been snuffed out is, so sad, too bad.
How deplorable of a thing to say about someone who was just killed while in the custody of Islamic radicals. Conservatives got all upset when people came out criticizing Chris Kyle after the release of the “American Sniper” film, but at least Kyle was outfitted with the means of defending himself against Islamic radicals while in the Middle East. Mueller was taken while doing aid work, had no military training, and completely helpless against her captors.
Sadly, Schlussel wasn’t the sole voice making such terrible comments. Conservatives from different walks of life chimed in and mocked Mueller on social media. These tweets were provided by Raw Story:

This is truly a sickening display. These people showed no more humanity towards the death of an American than the terrorists who kidnapped her in the first place.
