Buckle up, we’re about to take a trip into the narrow minded and terrifyingly backward corners of the internet.
Self-described faith healer Adam Miller has been the subject of a flood of criticism online. The reason is that Stephanie Guttormson, the Operations Director for the Richard Dawkins Foundation, brought analysis and data to bear against Adam Miller’s claims.
Then Miller decided that he should sue her for that.

What’s Miller’s beef? Well, it seems that he doesn’t like that he was criticized. Period. It doesn’t make sense, but, for him, it doesn’t have to.
Miller’s response, being that Miller is responsible for the content of the video, to Guttormson however, focused trying to discredit her individually and focused on feelings and the potential damage Guttormson’s criticism would do to those Miller could help, rather than addressing the specific complaints that Guttormson raised.

A woman in Miller’s video states, “She never once states herself what she is or who she is.” Which isn’t a point. It’s completely irrelevant. At no point is it a requirement for someone to identify ‘what they are’ to engage in meaningful debate.
“She’s not actually showing anything for the community either by saying, you know, she was a guy,” another woman adds. “She’s not really being who she is. You know, she’s lying about that.”
Guttormson has been officially served with a summons to appear in court. She has launched a GoFundMe page to help pay for her legal defense.
