Usually the Republican Party falls in line with the Koch brothers, blindly supporting their causes — even when they are obviously bad for the country.
Given that the oil tycoons said they will likely spend around $1 billion in the upcoming election cycle, it’s pretty easy to see why the GOP does their bidding. Simply follow the money.
But, as host Thom Hartmann pointed out on a recent episode of The Big Picture, some Republicans are pushing back against the Koch machine.
