Presidential candidate Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is sticking up for the “right” to fly the Confederate flag, unsurprisingly. People like Graham like to parade the flag, claiming that it’s part of “southern heritage.” These southern traditionalists need to realize that the flag’s heritage is of racism and slavery, and it’s an archaic symbol of hate.
It’s 2015, time to move on.
