Bill O’Reilly and an army of other race baiters have been circling their wagons around the terrible tragedy that occurred in Charleston, South Carolina at the hands of the twisted, demented Dylann Roof. Conservatives like O’Reilly want to quickly distance themselves from any implication that they are associated with the culture that embraces ideologies like Roof’s.
O’Reilly had Democratic Senator Todd Rutherford on his program to discuss remarks Rutherford had made about programs like Fox News helping foster feelings of contempt and hatred toward black Americans.
After playing a clip of Rutherford’s remark, O’Reilly asked, “You gonna stand by that?”
Rutherford stood his ground.
