John Oliver seems to be tired of listening to half-thought defenses of the Confederate flag. For Oliver, it’s time that the Confederate flag be taken down from any state institution that flies it and placed in its rightful place: somewhere no one can see it.
South Carolina continued to fly the Confederate flag over its capitol after last week’s shooting, despite having lowered the American and state flags to half-staff.
