Dr. Jill Stein of the Green Party officially announced her candidacy for President of the United States. Stein is the second true progressive candidate after Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Although she largely agrees with his platform, Stein’s goal is to be the progressive candidate that isn’t associated with the Democratic Party.
