Pope Francis has delivered yet another scathing message against money hoarding and the obsessive pursuit of wealth. The pontiff said it is the “dung of the devil.” To him, the real evil lies in the greed and arrogance of the one percent. Our current Pope overlooks all human divisions because he believes that we, as people, should be united, regardless of faith, wealth, race, gender, sexual identity, social status, or other distinctions. Pope Francis isn’t just the Catholic pope, he’s the People’s pope.
